SAN GIUSEPPE: the
religious feast of Saint Joseph is celebrated on March 19
every year with a procession along the streets of the
village, from the Carmine church to follow the same
itinerary of all the other processions.

"LI FIMMINI" Feast: this
religious feast is celebrated at the end of march to thank
the “SS CROCIFISSO DIO VIVO” (Living God Crucifix) and Mary
of the Miracles in memory of the rain miracle witnesses on
March 27, 1957.

celebrated every year on May 22 in the church of Sant'Agostino,
where a procession starts with the female devotees carrying
on their shoulders the sacred image of the woman saint.

FEAST OF ST. MARY OF THE
MIRACLES AND OF THE HOLY CRUCIFIX: the Madonna of the
Miracles has been venerated in Caltabellotta since 1601,
when she was proclaimed the patron saint of the village.

CAR SLALOM: this sport
event is organised not only to display driving skills, but
also for the pleasure of driving in such a special
environment as the Caltabellotta area.

FEAST OF NON-RESIDENTS:
this event has been conceived by the Local Administration to
remember and celebrate all the natives who had to move
elsewhere to find a job, but have left their heart in
Caltabellotta. These people contribute in keeping the good
reputation of the village in many European countries and
have distinguished themselves for their industriousness and
talent for the skills demonstrated in foreign lands.

FEAST OF SAN PELLEGRINO:
Caltabellotta preserves a good memory of its own past and
this is demonstrated by the feast that is organised to
celebrate its patron saint, San Pellegrino, with a cattle
market held every year on August 18.

PEACE OF CALTABELLOTTA:
the real pride of Caltabellotta is the re-evocation of the
most widely-known historical event of the village, which put
an end to the bloody Vespro War. The entire celebration is
of Medieval taste and drags participants into a time gone by
to highlight the much-sought-for peace that every people
desires on earth. Parades in traditional costumes, meetings,
festivals, tasting of local products and much more are the
events that every year regenerate the rich tradition of this
place in all its splendour.

FEAST OF THE LIVING GOD:
this religious feast is celebrated every second week of
September with a procession that starts from the Capuchin
church and goes along the main streets of the village.

FESTA DELL'IMMACOLATA:
This feast is held every year on December 8 to honour the
Virgin Mary. At the end of the religious procession a
bonfire is lit called "rogo di lu diavulazzo" (the devil’s
fire).

is celebrated every December 13 in the church of Sant'Agostino,
where a statue of the saint is placed on the altar and the
